"Stotis" reissue with archive memoirs & new artwork
2011 marked a turning point in the band’s history: Kommander L. returned to live in Lithuania, and LUCTUS — after a decade existing as a one-man black metal manifesto — evolved into a full lineup band. The culmination of this transformation was the album Stotis, recorded in 2013 at Phoenix Studios in Riga.
Today, this album needs no introduction — tracks such as “Nežiūrėk, nežibėk,” “Audra slenka virš miesto,” and the title track “Stotis” have already become classics of the K.B.M.B. canon, and the band continues to perform them live to this day.
As the wheel of Death completes another turn and 13 years have passed, Inferna Profundus Records reissues "Stotis" on CD format — featuring completely new artwork and refined memoir-like commentaries by Kommander L. on each track. These are literary yet deeply sincere accounts of how the songs were born, what inspired them, and what they truly mean.
“Sometimes people still ask what the song ‘Nežiūrėk, nežibėk’ is about, or what the sequence of numbers 3–4–7–10–12 actually means. Now all the answers can be found within the pages of the new Stotis reissue booklet,” states Kommander.
